Just as the track has been unveiled online, Ariana Grande opens up on what her rhythmic track ‘Problem‘ is about.
The jazzy number which features Iggy Azalea has already been making waves on the internet! Grande told Billboard that: “’Problem’ truly represents the feeling of being absolutely terrified to re-approach a relationship that’s gone sour — but you want to more than anything.”
Perhaps the voice behind ‘The Way‘ is referring to her relationship with The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes last year. She later added: “In the song, it ends on a sappy, negative note, but in [real] life, we’re hoping it’s going to end on a positive one. I feel like it’s all very honest and human.”
In just a few days ‘Problem’ has peaked at the top of the US iTunes chart, the single serving as her first single from her upcoming sophomore album to follow ‘Yours Truly‘.
