It looks as though 2014 is shaping up to be quite the year for Alexandra Burke.
After a relatively long period out of the spotlight, having not released any music or made any high profile appearances for the past two years, Burke has confirmed that her third studio is in fact finished and ready to be released.
It is set to be unveiled later on in the year, after she has finished her three month residency at the Adelphi Theatre in London, where she stars in the lead role of The Bodyguard.
Burke revealed that her fans can expect the lead single to be release in September and we hope that it provides the comeback that she so desperately and deservedly needs.
No doubt Burke will take advantage of of two of the UK’s most popular television shows, The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing to showcase her new music.
She has also praised Leona Lewis for her decision to leave Simon Cowell‘s record label SyCo after seven years. It was the same label that Burke was signed to from 2008 until 2011, before she left and signed a deal with RCA Records. In 2013, however, she left RCA, and is now signed to Epic Records.
