Willy Moon Announces Debut Record And UK Festivals!

Willy Moon has revealed a few details regarding his debut full-length record as well as some UK festival news. Check it out inside!

Twenty three year old rising star Willy Moon is set to put out his debut full-length record ‘Here’s Willy Moon‘ on 1st April 2013 through the renowned Island Records.

The entire record was written, recorded and produced by Moon with the exception of a couple of tracks that were produced by Pulp’s Steve Mackey.

Here’s Willy Moon‘ is only 29 minutes in length with Moon stating that ‘My album is short like my songs. I always loved the relentlessness and excitement of that first Ramones album and there’s something of that spirit in there. I think it will surprise people who’ve only heard Yeah Yeah, there’s some slower, more atmospheric songs on it and one that even last for over three minutes…ha!’.

Willy Moon is stated as saying that he has a deep adoration for contrast, spanning the genres throughout his debut record making it nothing short of a treat for established fans and prospective fans alike.

Willy has also revealed that he will be performing at Isle Of Wight and the Reading and Leeds festivals this coming summer!

The track listing for ‘Here’s Willy Moon‘ is as follows:
