The excellent War On Drugs have just announced that they are to play the UK in November in support of their highly praised album ‘Lost In The Dream’ .
These dates are to add to their two shows in May, at London’s Koko 27th and Manchester’s Academy 28th. The band are also due to play this years Latitude Festival July 17th -20th and The Green Man Festival August 14th – 17th. They will start their autumn tour in liverpool’s o2 Academy November 4th and end at Glasgow’s o2 November 8th. Tickets are on sale now and can be found at here.
The American band have released three acclaimed albums to date including March’ s ‘Lost In The Dream’. The boast Kurt Vile as a previous member of the group. They have been compared to sounding like Bruce Springsteen on acid.
