This year sees the 25th anniversary of Texas and their brand new studio album ‘The Conversation’ on 20th May 2013, with the title track being released as a single the week before on 13th May 2013.
This is Texas’ eight studio album and was recorded in Glasgow, London and Richard Hawley’s studio in Sheffield. The songs he collaborated on have been described as ‘a perfect marriage of Hawley’s 50s rock’n’roll frills and the timeless Texas magnetism to cast-iron melodies’. The album also features songs written by front-woman Sharleen Spiteri and bassist Johnny McElhone, plus collaborations with Bernard Butler.
Texas plan to launch the album with three live shows in Glasgow, London and Paris.
