School Of Seven Bells Release Posthumus Work Of Benjamin Curtis

Last Recording of School Of Seven Bells is available now. A cover of Joey Ramones’ I Got Knocked Down (But I’ll Get Up)

Press Shot

School Of Seven Bells have released their final recording with their chief song writer Benjamin Curtis ( formerly of Secret Machines). A cover of Joey Ramones’ ‘ I Got Knocked Down (But I’ll Get Up)‘.

Curtis died last December aged 35 of cancer. He helped record the song using his laptop whilst in hospital last year. Alejandra Deheza remains the last member of the band. It is unclear if she will continue with the band moniker in the future. The track is available at on ITunes now.

If this is the last performance from the dream pop act, then it’s a perfect send out for the group who created three excellent albums in the short time they existed.  An official video is to be released on 26th June.

Meanwhile listen to the the track at The Line Of Best Fit and be reminded how great School Of Seven Bells were below.
