Rough Trade Shops have come together with Field Day to release their first collaborative CD. Field Day Festival and Rough Trade Shops have much in common when it comes to supporting and promoting exciting new music and this year they are combining their years of experience into one exciting record.
Tom Baker, the co-founder of Field Day and Eat Your Own Ears promotions, the CD holds exactly what you would expect; a wide spectrum of new artists, breakthrough bands and dance floor favourites. Acts include Dark Bells, CHVRCHES, Everything Everything and Animal Collective.
Tom comments ‘It’s really exciting to be able to program two albums-worth of music. The easy part was already done in respect of the bands, as we have tried to include as many of the artists playing across the stages at this year’s Field Day as was possible. I hope you enjoy the eclectic mix of music, perhaps discover some new sounds and hear some of your favourite songs as well.’
