Roskilde is one of northern Europes biggest music and culture festivals of the last 40 years, think of it as a european Glastonbury, based in Denmark. This years main stage artists include the brilliant Kraftwerk, The National, Queens of the Stone Age, Rihanna, Sigur Rós, The Stone Roses and Volbeat.
Other stages have the likes of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, James Blake, Crystal Castles, Disclosure, Kendrick Lamar, Of Monsters And Men, Suicidal Tendencies and Turbonegro just to name a few!
If you fancy a bit of a road trip or a festival that’s a bit different to what the UK has to offer, Roskilde looks like a great lineup with massive amounts of music covering all genres. Definitely worth checking out.
