Placebo have announced the name and release date for their forthcoming seventh studio album, along with a string of UK dates for winter. Full dates are below.
‘Loud Like Love‘ will be released on September 16th 2013, and will feature 10 brand new tracks recorded in London last year, produced by Adam Noble.
The forthcoming record will be Placebo’s first release in four years, after sixth studio album ‘Battle For The Sun’ was released in 2009 to favourable reviews.
‘Loud Like Love’ will reportedly be available in five different formats, including coloured vinyl and a 3D Lenticular Super Deluxe Box Set, with preordering available from May 31st at midday.
Along with the album news, the London trio have also announced a series of UK dates for autumn, including dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and London. Tickets go on sale this Friday (24th) at 9am.
Thursday 12th December – O2 Academy, Birmingham
Friday 13th December – O2 Academy, Glasgow
Saturday 14th December – O2 Apollo, Manchester
Monday 16th December – O2 Academy Brixton, London
