Morrissey is set to release a new concert DVD containing previously unavailable recordings – ‘Introducing Morrissey’ will be on sale from September 8.
The footage consists of performances that took place in 1995 at Sheffield City Hall and Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. These gigs were part of a tour used to promote the release of Morrissey’s fourth solo album Vauxhall and I. Top 10 songs from the record are included the set, notably ‘The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get‘, as well as the popular ‘Jack the Ripper.’
The DVD will celebrate 20 years of Vauxhall and I – a recent re-release of it has also marked this occasion.
Morrissey will release World Peace is None of Your Business on July 15, his 10th solo album.
