Lana Del Rey’s new album ‘Ultraviolence‘ ( out 1st May) has been produced by The Black Keys‘ Dan Auerbach.
This should make things very interesting in camp Del Rey. She looks set to take an even bigger step to the left field of pop. Previously she had worked with ex Fame Academy artist David Sneddon and now one half of one of the coolest bands on the planet.
Del Rey took to Twitter yesterday to post a picture of herself sitting on the lap of the Grammy Award winning producer, captioning it: “Me and Dan Auerbach are excited to present you Ultraviolence”. Speaking to a fan Del Rey commented that “It’s so good that it made me forget about the last record. I’m in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it.”
‘Ultraviolence’ will follow the success of ‘Born To Die‘ which has sold over 800 000 copies in the Uk alone. Her new single ‘Once Upon A Dream‘, the from the soundtrack to the new Disney film ‘Maleficient’, can be downloaded for free via Google Play now.
