Jack Savidge or Friendly Fires (Pictured left) and Edwin Congreave of Foals have officially declared that they will be embarking on a new side project as DJs of a club night entitled ‘Deep Sh*t‘. The club night itself consists of the two indie band members rather surprisingly taking a new direction by DJing music of the techno variety. However, in an official press release by Deep Sh*t they admitted that they might be disappointing fans of their indie music roots, by saying “Having ruined the hopes and dreams of thousands of young indie music fans by rocking up to their DJ gigs with nothing but techno, they’ve now decided to establish a clear home for themselves here in London – a place for deep, intense party music.”
Deep Sh*t will be hosted at the infamous Plastic People club in Hoxton (London) on the 24th of February 2012.
