Foxes in Fiction have released ‘Shadow’s song’ which includes a contribution from violinist Owen Pallett.
The single is taken from the forthcoming album Ontario Gothic which is due for release on 23 September through Orchid tapes. The album also includes further input from Pallett on all seven of the tracks.
Foxes in Fiction aka Warren Hildebrand has said about the album:
‘Ontario Gothic is an album comprised of seven songs dealing with individual instances of loss, grief and the process of healing over the five years following my younger brother’s death in 2008’
The song is both celestial and moody at the same time, with Pallett’s violin work tying in effortlessly with Hildebrand’s vocals.
