Foo Fighters have announced that sessions have begun for their upcoming album ‘Foo Fighters LP 8′.
They revealed the news by posting a picture of master tapes labelled ‘Foo Fighters LP 8’ to their official Instagram account accompanied by the caption “It’s fucking ON”.
Speaking about the LP to Rolling Stone, Dave Grohl said “It’s badass. We’re doing something that nobody knows about, it’s fucking rad. We begin recording soon, but we’re doing it in a way that no one’s done before and we’re writing the album in a way that I don’t think has been done before.”
Next month Foo Fighters will make a huge live appearance in the run up to the Superbowl, with Imagine Dragons, The Roots and Fall Out Boy all set to perform at the show as well. Foo Fighters will join up with The Zac Brown Band for fab 1st gig, Dave Grohl having recently worked on the band’s most recent EP.
