After seven years away the post-Brit Poppers Embrace will do their first UK tour. The McNamara brothers and co will start the tour on Friday 9 May 2014 at Liverpool’s O2 Academy and concludes at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on 20 May 2014.
They will also be releasing their 4 track comeback EP ‘Refugees’ on 17th of February which will be followed by a new self-titled album on 28th of April. Embrace threatened retirement after their last album ‘This New Day‘ back in 2006, but it seems that the Leeds band are set for their second comeback after their last successful rise back in 2004.
With the World Cup in Rio around the corner, a follow up to their 2006 World Cup England anthem ‘World At Your Feet’ has yet to be confirmed.
Tickets for Embrace’s May tour go on sale tomorrow, 14 February 2014 at 9am. A perfect valentines gift for your indie loved one.
