Liam Gallaghers band Beady Eye are covering The Beatles’ ‘Across The Universe’ and releasing it to raise money to support relief effort in Japan after the recent Earthquake and Tsunami.
The Beatles track, from the ‘Let It Be’ album, was recorded at the Abbey Road Studios and was one of the songs performed by the Beady Eye Front man as they Headlined last night’s Japan Benefit fundraiser at the O2 Academy, Brixton, London.
All proceeds will go to the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal.
