The votes have been counted and the results are in after a crazy 1st voting phase which has seen the likes of Ash, Cerys Matthews of Catatonia and radio presenter/Longpigs fan Colin Murray tweeting their respective troops. There’s been highs and lows, tears and tantrums (and that’s just as our Indie Editor watched Suede‘s voting change across the weeks), but these are the albums you put through to round two. Drumroll please…
For those of you who may or may not of voted in Round One, We have selected 32 of the best albums (only one entry per artist) from the classic Britpop period 1993-1997 and have drawn them up against each other. Only your vote will decide who wins the battle and which album deserves to make it through to the next round.
