Artrocker Magazine are hosting their second annual awards event on Friday 7th December 2012 at the Sebright Arms in London’s East End. Taking inspiration from the old Brat awards, this year’s event will be a real rock’n’roll party, crowning the winners of a massive 13 award categories.

XFM Radio DJ and music guru John Kennedy will be presenting the VIP invite only awards ceremony between 1pm and 5pm. All winners will be revealed as well as a very special live performance on the day.

The magazine have announced that Tall Ships and Public Service Broadcasting will be joining Dark Horses for the post awards ceremony live event. This free live event will take place after the award ceremony from 5pm until midnight, where doors will be opened to the general public on a first come first served basis.

Editor Marc Sallis explains “The second annual Artrocker Awards will follow on from where the last one finished – at the barThe awards are about the music, the bands and giving the industry and the public a great event with a line-up that will recall the heady days of The Brats and inject some much needed drunken fun and rock’n’roll back into the industry. It’s Rock’n’Roll in its simplest and rawest form.”

Artrocker are best known for their honest guide to new music. To reflect this and involve music fans, this year’s awards are open for public voting. Head here to have your say at www.artrocker.tv/awards/start. Voting closes on the 1st December 2012.
