Arctic Monkeys Reveal Acoustic Version Of Do I Wanna Know?

Arctic Monkeys have this week revealed an acoustic version of the track ‘Do I Wanna Know?’, from their fifth studio album ‘AM’.

The black and white video was filmed at New York’s Avatar Studios and sees frontman Alex Turner and drummer Matt Helders performing the alternative version of the popular track.

It was announced earlier this week that the band will headline Reading and Leeds Festival 2014, 22nd – 24th August, so it’s no surprise that there has been so much hype surrounding this new video.

When speaking to NME this week, Helders spoke of the band’s live performances at the festival: “We’ve got better, now we’re more ready to headline festivals. Before, it was more because of demand. Still, we held off from a lot of things pretty well in terms of doing stuff like arena tours. We did the second-to-last slot, then the headline; it felt like we built up to it. But as a band and as performers, if I dare say that, I feel we’ve got better at it. I won’t be anywhere near as nervous as I was. Excited, but not scared.”
