Albert Hammond, Jr., best known as the guitarist in The Strokes, has announced a solo EP ‘AHJ’, set for release on 8th October. Produced, engineered and mixed by Gus Oberg, ‘AHJ’ will be released through Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records.
Speaking about the five-track EP, Hammond Jr. has said “It’s a combination of both previous recordings, which in turn makes it feel like it’s the best material that I’ve made so far. I’ve been working with him [Gus Oberg] since my first solo project, after we met and became best friends. We get along and we understand each other musically, so everything just flows.”
