Everyone knows how boring trains journeys can be right? I should know, being someone who commutes a 6 hour journey twice a week. Well at least there is one journey that won’t be as boring anymore.
Gatwick Express have teamed up with dubstep legend Benga, indie boys The Milk and classical composer Phillip Sheppard to create an entire soundtrack for the 30 minute journey from London to Gatwick Airport called “Express Tracks”.
You can now sit back and let these guys take you on a musical journey right up to your destination. BOOM!
As if the fact you wasn’t going to an airport exciting enough? You clearly must be doing something cool anyways!
Senior marketing manager at Gatwick Express, David Metherell, said “Gatwick Express is committed to enhancing our 30 minute journey and creating the best experience for our customers. Express Tracks is the world’s first collection of music created to accompany a train journey and thanks to VCCP and the artists’ superb compositions, Gatwick Express is the most exciting way to travel to the airport. As a premium air-rail service we are excited by ideas that invest value in the customer experience – whilst being relevant to the journey itself – and Express Tracks certainly has that.”
Now can someone make one that lasts 6 hours from Paignton to Worcester Park please? Thanks x
