Richie Hawtin has revealed that his upcoming new album, ‘Plastikman’, is well under way. The deep house producer from Canada, announced recently that the release of his new album is coming very soon.
When Hawtin spoke to Time Out Shanghai, he said that “the album is imminent. It’s basically finished. There’s only one Plastikman show, happening later this year, because I hope to gear up the project next year.” He also mentioned that there will be “all sorts of formats“.
Richie was also announced to perform at Movement Festival in Detroit over the weekend, alongside name like Carl Cox, among many more.
