A man who was assaulted at last weekends Parklife Weekender has sadly passed away.
The victim, Robert Hart, 26 from Macclesfield, was taken to Salford Royal Hospital after he was punched on the Saturday Night of the festival. The police have now confirmed that Mr Hart died at the hospital.
Inspector Richard Eales Of Greater Manchester Police has said
Our immediate thoughts go out to Robert’s family and loved ones. We currently have specially trained officers with them to help through this terrible time.
We are still in the early stages of this investigation, however several witnesses have assisted us with vital information concerning the description of the offender.
The attacker as “approximately 25-years-old, 6ft (1.8m) tall, with short, curly, black hair shaved at the sides”
