Phil and Paul Hartnoll, aka Orbital, are well known as one of the biggest names in British electronic music and we were lucky enough to have a quick chat with them at the BBC6Music 10th Birthday at Maida Vale Studios in London.
Back in the 1990’s, Orbital, who took their name from Greater London’s orbital motorway, were key players on the scene and known particularly for their live improvisation during shows which at the time was quite a rarity among acts of their genre.
Having released nine albums since their self-titled release back in 1991, three of which went top ten, Orbital are treating us to a brand new album this year by the name of ‘Wonky’ and we were keen to find out more as well as finding out a few fun extras. Expect doilies, greatest achievements and we find out how their last 24 hours on earth would be.
