So when you think house you normally think of names such as Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles or even Deep Dish. House music in the UK is really taking off, especially in Manchester, and Flux Groove is one of Manchesters most well known producer/DJs starting the wave of funky house and the movement into Soulful House.
From playing at the likes of Baa Baa, Lounge 31, Alter Ego and K2 he has now established a name for himself as a DJ/Producer and also as the brain child of Deepah Groove, one of the hottest nights at K2 Manchester. Bringing you the very best of minimal tech, tribal, vocal and deep soulful sounds with a experience and vibe that you can not only hear you can feel too.
He currently has his own mix tapes out ‘Beach House Sessions 1 & 2’ and through his Deepah Groove events he has been able to bring some of the best DJ’s and artists to Manchester such as DJ Scholar Tee, Carlos Aries, Damien Hse Lee, MDNA Mclaren Bro and Bucie who is well known for massive house tracks ‘Superman’ and ‘Your Kiss’. It’s not all about the DJs though, there are percussionists and saxophonists too. As a unit Flux is making sure if you didn’t know about house in Manchester, now you do.
After speaking to Flux he tells me how future plans are to take the night on tour and then to create a label, so as a concept he is firmly keeping his feet on the ground.
This guy is one to watch. One for the future and hes got me hooked.
