Flying the flag in progressive electronic music and in classic indie, this tropically inspired 5 piece band from Birmingham will release their debut EP ‘The Gems’ as a free download from 12th December 2011.
Troumaca are at the heart of where UK music is heading, forming and developing from UK bass music fused with tropical riffs and and dubby basslines along with big guitar leads, Troumaca will no doubt be mentioned in the same league as artists such James Blake and Friendly Fires just to name a random few.
Big in the Midlands and founders of Birmingham collective ‘MHVW’, Troumaca bring together a community of young people that are serious about what they are doing. Designers, writers, promoters, artists and photographers whom all contribute to the site, which is a window and platform for their city and wider world.
Passionate musicians, Troumaca host their own club nights, the Midlands’ most infamous raves!. You can taste more of this by accompanying the band’s forthcoming mixtape along with their self- produced EP to come.
