Babia Majora Flume is really grabbing this year by the balls! The busy Aussie bee has already completed a EU/UK tour, played a killer set on Boiler Room, was both the highest-polling local artist and most-repped artist overall in the Triple J hottest 100 and released his debut self-titled album in both the UK & USA! So just to add another notch to his belt has now announced that he is going to me embarking on a huge national tour of his motherland Australia.
These shows will be his first-ever national headline tour and will feature a entirely new stage production called ‘The Infinity Prism’. The new stage set up relies strongly on a device that uses a hexagonal infinity mirror embedded with LED lights in reference to the kaleidoscopic imagery of his album cover to bring an spectacular feast for the eyes to accompany the even sweeter treat for the ears.
He is going to be accompanied by his frequent collaborator Chet Faker and no doubt a few other special guests. Catch a preview of the new Infinity Prism below:
Flume’s self-titled debut album is available from 18th February via Transgressive Records. Check out our interview with him here!
