Sydney based 21-year-old Flume has announced his brand new single ‘Left Alone’ ft Chet Faker which is due for relewase on 18th February through transgressive records. Alongside this single there will also be the UK release of Flume’s self- titled debut album.
Flume’s debut reached number 1 in the Australian Itunes album charts whilst his singles topped The Hype Machine and Beatport which ended in him being named their number 2 artist of 2012!
Previous single ‘Sleepless’ ft. Jezzabell Doran received over a million views on youtube, spent several weeks at the top of the Itunes Australian Electronic charts and was championed by radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and 6Music. New single ‘Left Alone’ sees a more soulful side of Flume’s production skills mixed in with Chet Faker’s soft lyrics and haunting vocals. This could be the sound of 2013!
Flume also announced his first UK tour dates for 2013. After selling out London venue Birthdays on 24th January the show was upgraded to XOYO which in less than 3 weeks sold out as well. So well done if you have tickets! Flume is also playing in Brighton 22nd January at Green Door.
