The en Francais dance duo, Daft Punk, are pulling out all the stops to ensure they have the most bizarrely wonderful merchandise store for their fans, with the instalment of two new items this week.
Item 1- the bands collaboration with Durex, bringing you ‘Daft Punk Get Lucky’ condoms, named after their hot new single from their latest full- length, Random Access Memories, with the packet brandishing the cover art for ‘Get Lucky’. World renowned DJ’s including Diplo, who posted a picture of his packet, opened, on the photo sharing app, Instagram, captioned: “Thank god I had those daft punk condoms last night”, have been issued with packets of the condoms by Durex in order to promote the newly released product.
Now all of you Daft Punk fans can party in style!
Item 2- if you thought Daft Punk condoms were kick ass, then get a load of this. The duo have announced that they will be releasing their own line of action figure dolls. The dolls will be designed to strict specifications to look identical to the actual band members and will include seven different pairs of hands so that buyers can have their dolls posing in all kinds of crazy positions, (Now that’s pretty damn cool). The helmets of the dolls will also feature a shiny metallic finish effect on their visors. The action dolls will be manufactured courtesy of Bandai and SH Figures and will see both a Japanese release in November, and a United States release in December.
