Sony Music are releasing Acid House Anthems on 3rd February digitally and 4th February on physical CD. The 3 disks will include tracks and mixes by Orbital, 808 State, Coldcut, Primal Scream, Happy Mondays, A Guy Called Gerald, Fingers inc, Rhythim is Rhythim, Frankie Knuckles, Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley, Inner City, Phuture and many many more.
The release marks the 25th anniversary of the birth of acid house and it features classics, early influential tracks and Balearic beats. Acid house is seen as the UK’s most influential youth culture phenomenon since punk.
