Celine Dion’s husband and former manager René Angélil has died today (January 14th) aged 73 of throat cancer. Celine’s PR team made this announcement on her official Facebook page:

Angélil and Dion married in December 1994 and had 3 sons, René-Charles and twins Eddy and Nelson. Angélil also leaves behind his sons Patrick and Jean Pierre and daughter Anne Marie from his previous marriages. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
