Marilyn Manson will join the cast of the seventh and final series of Sons of Anarchy as a “white supremacist”.
Manson will have a recurring role on the motorcycle gang TV series as Ron Tully, a “prison shot-caller whom Jax (Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base”.
When asked about his involvement with the show, Manson revealed that it was a tribute to his father, he said “Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s. The very heart of SOA is about [the father-son] relationship … So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema.”
Manson has had roles in numerous films and TV shows throughout his career, including Californication and Eastbound and Down. The upcoming series of Sons of Anarchy will be aired in the US on FX in September.
