Natalia Tena, the actress who plays Nymphadora Tonks in Harry Potter and Osha in Game of Thrones, has a new project lined up with BBC Worldwide in the form of a Spanish sci-fi drama, The Refugees.
BBC Worldwide is teaming up with Atresmedia for the English-speaking drama, which follows a small rural community after refugees from the future travel back in time to seek shelter in the present. BBC Worldwide will act as co-producer, commissioner for international channels, and global distributor. Tena is to play the lead role and Tom Grieves (Being Human) will act as script consultant, but other cast and crew members have yet to be announced.
The Refugees will be filmed this summer and is set to be premièred on laSexta in Spain this autumn.
