Paddy,one half of dance act ‘Paddy and Nico who will compete in Saturday’s final of Britain’s Got Talent has revealed she is ‘not 100 percent. The 79-year-old sustained an injury to her ribs in a fall during rehearsals for the show and only just was fit enough to compete in last weekend’ semi final.
While speaking to ITV show This Morning, Paddy said: “I’m on the mend, but I’m not 100% unfortunately, but Nico is adapting the lifts and throws so that I don’t get any more pains from it all.” Before adding: “Everybody is looking after me absolutely 100%, it’s really great… Everyone has been worried and I thank everyone for their support, it’s been great.”
At first, it appeared that the dance act would be forced to withdraw from the competition however Simon Cowell took to Twitter to announce that the pair would return.
The final of Britain’s Got Talent 2014 takes place this Saturday June 7.
