Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams could upset Simon Cowell by saying that he would be interested in hosting Strictly Come Dancing should he be offered the role.
Walliams appeared on Alan Carrs: Chatty Man with fellow judges Amanda Holden & Alesha Dixon said: “Well, I’d be interested if they offered it to me, but they haven’t!” he said. “I think they should annoy Brucie by getting someone older, like Yoda!” before adding: “It’s a great show, but very difficult filling the shoes of someone who is a legendary entertainer.”
Rumours have started on who should replace legendary presenter Bruce Forsyth following the announcement of him stepping down.
Alesha Dixon who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2007 and then for three series was a judge on the show said that Claudia Winkleman should partner Tess Daly: “I think Claudia and Tess should do it together,” she said. “Two girls together – it’s never been done.”
