Three Barrels Honey Brandy – Yes Please! | Sponsored

Seems like Brandy ain’t just for old people anymore!

With summer in full swing it’s sometimes nice to sit out in the sun, or in the cool, warm breeze of a summers evening, and enjoy a little tipple now and then. We were recently sent a bottle of the new Three Barrels Honey Brandy from William Grant & Sons and thought “I’m game for a bit of that!”, so thought we would put this new age of brandy flavouring to the test.

As a little background for you all, William Grant & Sons are renowned for their collection of premium and established brands including names such as Glenfiddich, Hendrick’s Gin and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum to name a few. Founded way back in 1887 they are constantly striving to create new and exciting flavours, and with a demand for sweeter flavourings, the Three Barrels Honey was born, and we must say, it tastes great!

The honey brandy is a 30% ABV spirit, and with it’s blend of VSOP -that stands for ‘Very Special Old Pale’ – or in lamens terms, a young brandy that’s been aged in barrels for at least 4 years – and the addition of natural honey essence, gives it a refreshingly smooth taste. Served chilled, with ice and coke/lemonade it’s a real treat if you are looking for a sweeter spirit. Seems like brandy isn’t just for the older generation anymore!

Three Barrels Honey has just launched exclusively with Morrisons, and you will be able to pick it up in multiple stores from September for around £17.99 per bottle (70cl).

After all, if Brandy is good enough for James Bond, it is definitely worth our time!
