We all know that Zooey Deschanel is great at comedy features, what with her hit series ‘New Girl’, where she plays the socially awkward Jess, and her role in ‘Your Highness’ (a shambles in my opinion), but now the big-eyed beauty has been chosen for the supporting role alongside Domhnall Gleeson in Richard Curtis’s new comedy ‘About Time’.
The film will see Gleeson, a time traveller who goes back in time to change history for the better. Of course, this is a low budget film so the changes will not be world changing, just a Marty McFly type of changing. From what we already know about time travel through films and other materials, it is not wise to change the course of events as it will set off a domino effect and everyone will be affected. But I guess that is what makes this film a comedy right?
Deschanel will play the love interest Mary and will start filming the feature in the summer between shooting episodes of New Girl.
Low budget time travelling film? Should be a success…. Right?
