It’s not the first and it certainly won’t be the last, however a new remix of Matthew McConaughey’s chest pounding performance in The Wolf of Wall Street has surfaced.
There have been many attempts to remix this snippet from the film and this has resulted in both terrible and remarkable remixes being born from the film. The actor revealed the inspiration for the iconic scene and exposed that this chest beating rhythm is actually a warm-up technique that McConaughey uses himself before scenes. He spoke on the Graham Norton show saying:
“That’s something I’ll do before scenes to relax myself, get my voice to drop. I’ve been doing it for a while, but it’s just something I do,”
McConaughey continues to add that even Leonardo Dicaprio’s involvement was merely an improvised stunt between the two actors that evidently paid off, as seen in the feature.
