It has now been officially confirmed that Vin Diesel will join the cast of Guardians Of The Galaxy, the latest movie to emerge from the Marvel Universe. The announcement comes after much rumour and speculation regarding Vin Diesel joining the cast after he expressed interest in the role and entered talks with Director James Gunn. Vin Deisel will play the role of Groot and actually has only one line of dialogue which consists of simply stating ‘ I am Groot’. He will appear alongside a host of other Marvel characters including Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket Racoon (voiced by Bradly Cooper) Drax (Dave Bautista) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana). The characters will join forces in the film to defend the galaxy from an enormous and formidable enemy. Guardians Of The Galaxy will arrive in cinemas August 1st 2014.
