The title of this film sounds a little bit stalkerish but I assure you that it is a romantic film!
Directed by David Mackenzie, Tonight You’re Mine is a romantic comedy set in the midst of Scotland’s music festival T in the Park. Luke Treadaway (Attack of the Block) and Natalia Tena (Tonks from Harry Potter) move away from their miniscule roles and take on the lead.
The film follows these two rockers who have been forced together by a randomer who handcuffed them together. He is a famous front man of an eletropop band with a beautiful model girlfriend and she is a struggling-to-be-noticed singer of a punk band with a boring banker boyfriend. Naturally, the two characters start off by hating each other but as they are forced to be together romance blossoms. Check out the trailer and poster below!
Sounds a little bit corny right? Personally, I think the trailer gives too much away. However, the fact it is filmed in a documentary style may get people reminiscing on those wild days spent at music festivals. What do you think? Is the trailer too developed? Will this English independent film actually get the popularity it needs?
