The Partridge is Gearing Up in a New Clip Released

A new clip has been released from ‘Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa’ that reminds us all why we love local DJs

THE ALAN PARTRIDGE MOVE

We here at HTF are always very excited to be having Alan Partridge footage sent our way. The one time 90s talk-show host and local radio DJ has a fond place in our hearts. Now with his big screen debut in ‘Alan Partirdge: Alpha Papa‘ we see Steve Coogan‘s epic creation come even further out of his comfort zone.

When North Norfolk Radio is sold to a large conglomerate, disgruntled employee Pat Farrell, played by Irish superstar Colm Meaney, takes it upon himself to keep the station. Igniting the worst siege Norwich has ever seen and only trusting the word of Norfolks’ finest has-been.

Having never really dealt with the police (apart from getting caught stealing a traffic cone) Alan is thrown onto the front line. In the latest clip released, our eponymous hero is being briefed for the task ahead with as much poise and grace as one would expect from the man.

Quizzed on panic attacks, Alan admits he’s had one. In a car wash. “It was a perfect storm of no sleep, no wife, and angry brushes whirring towards me.“. Only a small snippet of what is to come but we can expect the regular comic writing of Coogan and awful mishaps and misunderstanding that make Partridge so funny. A true to form piece and finally a bit of success for Mr Alan Partridge.

‘Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa’ releases on the 7th of August
