The infinitely generous people at New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwen Mayer Pictures, have decided, like many, that the previously released standard version of ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ was just not quite satisfying enough. So have made the popular decision to release an extended edition available on digital download from the 22nd of October. A Blue-ray and DVD release will also be available from the 4th of November. This latest offering includes and extra 13 minutes of extra footage and 9 hours of extras!
