Sacha Baron Cohen has gone a step further to promote his upcoming leadership Spoof The Dictator by releasing a third trailer. This one may start similarly to the second, with news footage of the likes of Obama and David Cameron Condemning tyrants, but the more you watch the more you get a basic idea of the plot.
The Dictator tells the story of General Aladeen (Cohen) who, on a trip to the U.S. is kidnapped by the government and given a make over (they shave his beard off) to be released onto the streets of New York. Aladeen attempts to break into the UN where he had been told he was meant to be given a speech and this is where he meets Anna Faris who you may recognise from Scary Movie among other films. Faris plays a health store manager who offers Aladeen a job at the checkout. Let’s just say customer service is something that Aladeen isn’t particularly familiar with.
Though Cohen has gone for yet another spoof, this film seems to be a rather different in comparison with the likes of Borat and Bruno in the sense that it appears to be a lot more scripted.
As well as Cohen and Faris the film also stars John C. Reilly and Megan Fox, this should be a film we all have our eye on. Anyway, enough jibber jabber, watch the trailer here!
