Fashion films have been brought to the forefront of the fashion world recently and the Fashion Film Festival was created 5 years ago to help celebrate that. The festival is a collaboration between the British Fashion Council and River Island, that promotes film as an important part of showcasing a designer’s work and exhibiting their skills.
The past 4 years, the Fashion Film Festival has been only for independent brands to showcase, yet this year they have changed the rules to incorporate editorial films, for example, ones from Vogue.
