Sally Field recently suggested that she’s open to the idea of returning in the upcoming Mrs Doubtfire sequel, however fears her character may not feature.
News of the sequel came last week when it was announced that Robin Williams is reportedly set to return to his role as the lovable but quirky nanny and also that Elf writer David Berenbaum is on board to pen the script.
On the topic of reprising her role of Miranda Hillard, Field said:
“I don’t know, they didn’t call me, but I was the mother that divorced [him], so she’s probably off on the al-Qa’ida ranch somewhere.”
