If you were unaware that a Jurassic Park 4 was in the works, surprise! Steven Spielberg will be producing, not directing, and the writing team is reportedly in the works to be husband and wife duo Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Amanda Silver has only done two projects without Jaffa, pretty much solidifying them as a package deal. The two have previously written The Relic, and Eye For An Eye, before taking on the Planet of the Apes reboot.
Jurassic Park 4, only has a rumored cast thus far, yet the rumors are that all original members will be returning. Even our favorite Lynch girl, Laura Dern and The Fly himself, Jeff Goldblum. Sam Neill of Alcatraz most recently, and Richard Attenborough are also listed as rumored cast. Perhaps Jurassic Park 4 can redeem the franchise after that last one with Téa Leoni and William H. Macy, but when has a fourth installment saved a franchise? We’ll hope for the best!
