Christopher Nolan’s latest project Interstellar has been one of the most exciting prospects of 2014 ever since its announcement and the two previous trailers showcased a tantalizing plotline and an extra-terrestrial setting. Now, a new trailer has touched down and it only serves to add to that excitement.
The plot of Interstellar involves the discovery of a wormwhole in space which scientists and researchers believe can be passed through. A group of astronauts travel through it and among them is Cooper (played by Matthew McConaughey), a widowed engineer who is forced to leave behind his son and daughter on Earth.
The trailer rehashes bits used in previous trailers as well as showcasing new scenes in space – it doesn’t seem to give away too much though, and considering the type of film it is, we’re glad about that. The shroud of mystery that encapsulates Interstellar has us foaming at the mouth for more.
Directed by Nolan and starring McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain among others, Interstellar launches into cinemas in the UK on November 6 2014.
