November 6th 2012, saw America make history by re-electing President Barack Obama for another four years of presidency. So with everyone in the debating mood, Steven Spielberg has picked the perfect time to release the latest full length trailer for his presidential biopic; Lincoln. Check it out below!
The film follows the presidential span of the 16th President of the United States as he goes on a mission to demolish slavery by getting the 13th Amendment into the US constitution. Sounds pretty hard going for an international audience but with the stunning performances from Daniel Day-Lewis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Fields, along with the subplot of President Lincoln’s personal life; Lincoln will promise to keep even the most uninterested of people entertained.
Unfortunately, Lincoln will be released in the US on November 16th, having to compete with those moody sparkling vampires over on Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, but will reach UK screens on January 25th.
