The Call of Duty franchise has released the first trailer for its annual first-person shooter series. This time out Activision has got the help of Hollywood veteran and House of Cards star Kevin Spacey. The actor will be the main villain in the newest instalment. He is thought to be the head of a private military contractor which goes up against the U.S government after his company goes rogue. Set in the future, the franchise takes the weapons and gadgets of the previous games and, well… advances them. With soldiers wearing exoskeletons and Tanks and planes being unmanned. This is not the first time that the franchise has got the help of Hollywood actors, with Timothy Olyphant, Idris Elba and even Gary Oldman lending their voices to the first-person shooter over the years. But it is the first time that the whole likeness of a Hollywood actor has been used along with their voice. Spacey is no stranger to being in video games though, with him reprising his role as Lex Luthor in the Xbox 360 and playstation 2 game Superman Returns.
