Based on Laura Wade’s award-winning stage play Posh, comes this raucous, chaotic first look at The Riot Club, starring Max Irons, Douglas Booth, Sam Claflin, Holliday Grainger and Game Of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer.
Inspired by Oxford’s real-life Bullingdon Club, whose past members include the Mayor of London Boris Johnson and Prime Minister David Cameron, the film follows two first year Oxford University students who are eager to get into the infamous, elite Riot Club. However, not is all as it seems when one evening takes a sinister turn.
Directed by Lone Scherfig, director of An Education and One Day, The Riot Club will be screened in UK cinemas on September 19.
